Art Open Studios are events where artists open their studios to the public, allowing visitors to explore the creative spaces where art is produced, and to engage with the artists themselves. These events provide a unique opportunity for the public to connect with artists, learn about their creative processes, and purchase or commission artwork directly from the creators.
My Fine Art Studio is opening on Saturday 23rd September – Sunday 24th September. The event is part of APT Open Studios where over 40 other art studios are opening too. It’s always a great event. This year there is free ice cream genourously provided by Badiani Gelato. We do our very best to tempt you to come along and see all the studios!
I enjoy Open Studios as it is a fantastic opportunity to catch up with friends and artists . We talk about all things art and how life is getting on. I also meet people new to the studios and it’s always great to welcome new comers. I love hearing about their visit. It gives everyone time and space to look at one’s work and give feedback. This is all part of the vibe of Open Studios. It’s an educational event too, as artists talk indepth about their art practice. So if this is your first visit, do come along as everyone is welcome.
